Cleveland Clinic Weston names gastroenterology chairman

Cleveland Clinic Weston (Fla.) promoted Tolga Erim, DO, to gastroenterology department chairman, the Miami Herald reports.

Dr. Erim has served as endoscopy director at Cleveland Clinic Weston, which is part of Cleveland Clinic’s Florida region, since 2015.

Dr. Erim attended medical school at Old Westbury-based New York College of Osteopathic Medicine before completing an internal medicine residency and chief residency at Cleveland Clinic’s Weston hospital.

He underwent fellowship training at Cleveland Clinic and advanced endoscopy training at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and Harvard Medical School, both in Boston.
