Champlain Valley Physicians Hospital’s endoscopy services receive renewal of ASGE recognition

Plattsburgh, N.Y.-based University of Vermont Health Network-Champlain Valley Physicians Hospital’s endoscopy services earned a three-year renewal of recognition from the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, according to a Press-Republican report.

The hospital offers endoscopy services on the main campus and in the Kevin J. Carroll Ambulatory Surgery Center. A total of 6,000 endoscopy procedures are performed annually. The ASGE recognition is for quality and safety of endoscopy services.
