Specialists Robert Moylan, MD, Jonathan Bern, MD, Vikas Chitnavis, MD, and Kevin Mercure, MD, will treat a variety of digestive diseases in addition to serving as faculty members for the new gastroenterology fellowship program. Dr. Moylan will serve as the program’s associate director.

The inclusion of former Valley Gastroenterology physicians nearly doubles Carilion’s practice size and helps meet the growing demand for gastroenterology services in the Roanoke Valley.
