Here’s what you should know.

1. CapsoCam received the honor because of its four camera and LED lighting system. Most digestible endoscopes have a single forward facing camera which produces inconsistent results, but the CapsoCam allows for multiple views of the intestines’ interior.

2. MedGadget included Pure-Vu because of its ability to properly prepare patients for colonoscopies. The Pure-Vu system allows physicians to prepare the colon by washing it with four sprinklers and a suction system.

3. The list honored several other product categories including:

  • Diabetes
  • General surgery
  • Brain assessment
  • Drones
  • Prosthetics and mind control
  • Augmented and virtual reality
  • Ultrasound technology
