Cantel Medical acquired Medical Innovations Group for a purchase price of $79.5 million in cash consideration.

1. Medical Innovations, a United Kingdom-based medical device company, is a provider of endoscope storage and transport systems.

2. Its products include short-term scope transport system CleanaScope as well as its recently launched SureStore long-term endoscope storage system

3. Cantel Medical anticipates the acquisition to be accretive to non-GAAP earnings per share in the fiscal year ending July 31, 2016 and beyond.

4. Cantel Medical is dedicated to delivering infection prevention and control products and services in the GI/endoscopy market.

5. Medical Innovations’ suite of solutions is highly complementary to Cantel Medical’s existing portfolio.
