Borland Groover will open a new outpatient gastroenterology office in Fort Walton Beach, Fla., on July 6, expanding the Jacksonville-based practice’s footprint along the Emerald Coast.

According to a news release shared with Becker’s July 23, the office will serve patients in Fort Walton Beach and surrounding Northwest Florida communities. William Craig Dungan, MD, will staff the location and is now accepting new patients.

The Fort Walton Beach office joins Borland Groover’s existing Santa Rosa Beach location and the Emerald Coast Endoscopy Center currently under development. Borland Groover cares for more than 150,000 patients annually and performs more than 50,000 colonoscopies each year across Florida.

At the Becker’s 32nd Annual Meeting: The Business and Operations of ASCs, taking place October 29-31 in Chicago, ASC leaders, surgeons and healthcare executives will explore strategies to drive growth, enhance operational performance, navigate reimbursement challenges and prepare for the future of ambulatory surgery.
