Blue Cross Blue Shield of Rhode Island to cover Cologuard, EndoChoice names new board members & more – 3 recent GI/endoscopy company key notes

Here are three recent news updates on key gastroenterology and endoscopy companies.

EndoChoice named two new board members.David Mowry, president and CEO of Tornier N.V., and William Enquist, former president of Global Endoscopy for Stryker Corp., will join the company’s board effective Sept. 9.

Endo International named Craig Paterson, MD, its CMO. Dr. Paterson has previously held leadership roles with Salix Pharmaceuticals, King Pharmaceuticals and GlaxoSmithKline. 

Exact Sciences entered into an agreement with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Rhode Island to include Cologuard under its commercial and Medicare Advantage plans.
