Bill HB69 15RS would “require health benefit plans to cover colorectal cancer screening regardless of the billing code or other procedure performed in the same clinical encounter and as part of ongoing prevention.”
The bill was filed by Rep. Tom Burch (D-Louisville). If enacted, the bill would require health benefit plans to cover screening for patients over 50 and patients at high risk for CRC.
