1. In his new role, Mr. Slowey will oversee the various functions in Winston-Salem, N.C.

2. He will also continue fulfilling his leadership responsibilities for the endoscopy clinical division.

3. Mr. Slowey joined Cook as the European marketing manager in the newly established Ireland facility in 1996.

4. Most recently, he served as vice president and global leader for the endoscopy clinical division.

5. Cook Medical works closely with physicians to develop technologies that eliminate the need for open surgery.
