1. Dr. Lewis earned her medical degree from Coral Gables, Fla.-based American University of the Caribbean. She completed a residency at Portland-based Maine Medical Center and a fellowship at University of Rochester (N.Y.) Medical Center.
2. She was a researcher at Rockville, Md.-based National Institutes of Health in the past.
3. Dr. Lewis was most recently with Greater Boston Gastroenterology.
