ASGE recognizes 18 new endoscopy centers for quality and safety, renews 18 others

The American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy recognized 18 endoscopy centers from across the U.S. for their quality and safety, while renewing 18 other centers’ recognitions.

The society does this through its endoscopy unit recognition program. These centers have to demonstrate a commitment to patient safety and quality through following a strict criteria and undergoing a peer-review process.

Here are the 18 new centers:

  2. Bethesda Butler TriHealth Hospital, Hamilton, Ohio
  3. Clark Regional Medical Center, Winchester, Ky.

  8. Lake Charles Memorial Hospital, Gastroenterology Lab, Lake Charles, La.
  9. Mayo Clinic Endoscopy Unit, Scottsdale, Ariz.
  10. Mayo Clinic Hospital Endoscopy Unit, Phoenix
  11. Physicians Regional Medical Center, Naples, Fla.
  12. Saint Anne’s Hospital Endoscopy Center of Excellence, Fall River, Mass.
  13. Sharp Grossmont Hospital, La Mesa, Calif.
