Here are five things to know:
1. In his new role, Mr. Dellert is responsible for ASGE’s success at providing educational products and programming for the medical community.
2. He has experience as a member of the organization’s senior administrative team and has had fiduciary responsibilities related to ASGE’s Institute for Training and Technology courses, international initiatives, industry training and research.
3. Previously, Mr. Dellert served as chief learning officer for the American Society of Anesthesiologists and senior vice president, clinical education, informatics and research for the American College of Chest Physicians.
4. Mr. Dellert has experience as the president of the Illinois Alliance for Continuing Medical Education and earned the organization’s Thomas Pearson Service Award last year. He has been the president of the Foundation for Continuing Education in the Health Professions.
5. In addition to his leadership roles, Mr. Dellert continues to serve as a volunteer surveyor for the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education and their Accreditation Review Committee.
