Construction has begun on the endoscopy center, which will be named Hudson Valley Center for Digestive Health. The center will be located between the hospital and physicians’ practices.

It will be a 4,500-square-foot endoscopic ambulatory surgery center with two procedure rooms, and will occupy office space in a new Hudson Valley Hospital Center medical office building.

“We are excited about the anticipated opening this summer of the Hudson Valley Center for Digestive Health,” said Frank Principati, COO of Physicians Endoscopy and board member of Hudson Valley Center for Digestive Health. “This partnership with a coalition of highly talented GI physicians, Hudson Valley Hospital Center and Physicians Endoscopy will provide a new level of comfortable and convenient healthcare services to this community.”

The center is scheduled to open in August 2012.
