Congress recently passed reauthorization of PDUFA. PDUFA, and associated legislation also passed by Congress, helps fund the FDA’s review of new drugs and medical devices.

AGA hopes to see the legislation signed into law as soon as possible to help address drug shortages, including those used during endoscopy.
