AGA releases animated video for GERD education: 3 highlights

The American Gastroenterological Association has released a new patient education video about gastroesophageal reflux disease.

Here’s what you need to know:

1. The animated video discusses causes and symptoms of GERD.

2. It includes a discussion of home remedies for reflux as well as advice for when to see a gastroenterologist.

3. There are two versions of the short video: a full-length version that is just over two minutes and an abbreviated version that is just over one minute.

AGA is encouraging its members to embed the video on their practice websites, email the video via patient portal and share the video on social media.
