ABIM suspends 3 MOC requirements until December 2018

The American Board of Internal Medicine has extended its suspension of practice improvement, patient safety and patient voice requirements for maintenance of certification through December 2018.

The American Gastroenterological Association has applauded ABIM’s decision. The AGA, along with other subspecialty societies, continues to advocate for an overhaul of the MOC process.
