Oakland, Calif.-based Kaiser Permanente named Timothy Jenkins, MD, the new area medical director for the Kaiser Permanente San Bernardino County Service Area.

 

Southwestern Vermont Medical Center in Bennington added Ashley Maranino, MD, to its team.

 

Monarch Specialty Group, a partnership firm and investment company focused on orphan drugs and specialty biologics, added Howard Schwartz, MD, as a practice associate.

 

Louisiana Heart Medical Group, based in Lacombe, added Dasarathy Srinivas, MD, to its team.

 

Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center in Ogdensburg, N.Y., added Sebastian Mazzotta, MD, to its physician team.

 

Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Nebraska elected two new directors to its board, including gastroenterologist John C. Mitchell II, MD.
