Medical device company BioSig Technologies named Jerome Zeldis, MD, PhD, to its board of directors.

The University of Minnesota in Minneapolis established a team that will lead the reform of its research program, and the team will be chaired by William Tremaine, MD.

Perseon Corporation, a life sciences company focused on heat therapy for cancer treatment, appointed gastroenterology Brian A. Meltzer, MD, MBA, as its chief medical officer and vice president of business development.

Lloyd Gibson Bartholomew, MD, died at age 93.

Christopher Meyer, DO, was named CEO and chairman of the board of Gallipolis, Ohio-based Holzer Health System, effective Jan. 1.
