The second quarter of 2025 saw a wave of gastroenterology center openings across the U.S., reflecting continued investment in outpatient care.

  1. Gateway Gastroenterology and USPI launched an endoscopy center

Gateway Gastroenterology, based in Chesterfield, Mo., partnered with United Surgical Partners 

International to open an outpatient endoscopy center.

  1. GI Alliance and MedCore partnered on Arkansas ASC

Management services organization GI Alliance partnered with real estate firm MedCore to open a new ASC in Bentonville, Ark. 

  1. Gastroenterology will open a new practice in Little Rock

Pinnacle Gastroenterology is expected to open a multi-physician gastroenterology practice in a building that housed the now-shuttered Arkansas Diagnostic Center of Little Rock in summer 2025.

  1. AdventHealth Tampa opened a regional endoscopy center

AdventHealth Tampa (Fla.) opened a Center for Interventional Endoscopy, the only interventional endoscopy center in the Tampa Bay region.
