3 things to know about Takeda’s newest pilot program

Takeda along with Texas Digestive Disease Consultants and the Vanderbilt University Medical Center are partnering to pilot a digital technology program to help manage inflammatory bowel disease for patients and providers.

Here’s what you should know.

1. Through the iBData pilot program, patients will be able to track their symptoms and their lifestyle with the wearable watch technology.

2. The wearable will allow physicians and patients to have an ongoing dialogue between visits. Physicians will be able to analyze “symptoms, triggers and aggravating factors” to hopefully improve patient outcomes.

3. The pilot will be limited to 100 patients, initially.
