3 GI leaders to know

Three GI leaders to know this week:

1. Anthony Nicholas Kalloo, MD: Dr. Kalloo is director of the division of gastroenterology and hepatology at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore. He is a professor of medicine at Johns Hopkins and has a special interest in therapeutic endoscopy and natural orifice translumenal endoscopic surgery.

2. Lin Chang, MD: Dr. Chang is vice chief of the Vatche and Tamar Manoukian Division of Digestive Diseases at UCLA and director of the UCLA gastroenterology fellowship program. Dr. Chang's research focuses on the effects stress has on irritable bowel syndrome. She also co-directs the G. Oppenheimer Center for Neurobiology of Stress and Resilience at UCLA.

3. Anne Tuskey, MD: Dr. Tuskey is the quality liaison for the division of gastroenterology and medical director of gastroenterology clinics at the UVA Health System in Charlottesville, Va. She is the co-system leader of GI curriculum at the UVA School of Medicine and sits on the committee on residency education. Dr. Tuskey joined the UVA faculty in 2011.
