2020 report: Investment heats up in the gastroenterology space

The gastroenterology space saw an increase in new private equity investors in 2018 and 2019, according to Physicians First’s 2020 gastroenterology outlook report.

Physicians First provided a breakdown of how many PE investors have been involved in the GI space over time, including existing investments:

2016: 1
2017: 1
2018: 3
2019 (first quarter): 3
2019 (second quarter): 4
2019 (third quarter): 5
2019 (fourth quarter): 6
