Medtech company HistoIndex has expanded its U.S. network with the addition of two hepatology and gastroenterology centers.

The company added Houston Research Institute Kingwood and Knowledge Research Center in Orange, Calif., extending access to its AI-driven diagnostic services for liver disease, according to an April 28 company news release.

HistoIndex also expanded services within the Houston Research Institute network, building on a broader rollout across its sites in late 2025. The company said the integration has improved workflow across biopsy preparation, disease evaluation and coordination with labs.

The partnerships are part of the medtech company’s efforts to grow its clinical network and advance diagnostic tools for metabolic dysfunction-associated steatohepatitis, according to the release.
