1. The departures come after the network filed two notices with Virginia’s Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act saying it would lay off 90 people in Northern Virginia and 40 in Fredericksburg.
2. Gastroenterology Associates of Northern Virginia said it will retain all 90 employees.
3. Gastroenterology Associates of Northern Virginia also said leaving the network will allow the practice to expand its services.
4. Advanced Digestive Care has nearly 40 doctors across 14 locations in Northern Virginia in its network.
