HealthMark Combines With Alliance Surgery;
Pacific Surgical Partners Continues Growth

1. HealthMark Partners Combines With Alliance Surgery. Nashville's HealthMark Partners has announced that it and Atlanta-based Alliance Surgery have combined their companies through a stock-for-stock exchange. Both companies develop, acquire and operate single- and multi-specialty, freestanding ASCs, typically in joint-ventures with physicians or with physicians and hospitals. 2. Pacific Surgical Partners Continues Growth. Pacific Surgical Partners has announced two developments. First, it has closed the transaction of the San Gabriel Ambulatory Surgery Center from United Surgical Partners International and Catholic Healthcare West. The three-OR, two-procedure room multispecialty facility is located in San Gabriel, Calif. Second, PSP has announced the formation of Valley Ambulatory Surgery Center in partnership with Valley Presbyterian Hospital.
