Morgantown-based West Virginia University Heart and Vascular Institute has partnered with Parkersburg (W.Va.) Cardiology Associates.

Parkersburg Cardiology Associates and its partners have provided care to the Mid-Ohio Valley for more than 50 years, according to a May 9 news release from WVU Medicine.

The integration will expand access to advanced heart care services and provide additional resources and support to Parkersburg Cardiology Associates.

The practice will continue services from its existing location on the WVU Medicine Camden Clark Medical Campus center.

The transition is expected to be completed in the next few months with no disruption to patient care, the release said.

At the Becker's 23rd Annual Spine, Orthopedic and Pain Management-Driven ASC + The Future of Spine Conference, taking place June 11-13 in Chicago, spine surgeons, orthopedic leaders and ASC executives will come together to explore minimally invasive techniques, ASC growth strategies and innovations shaping the future of outpatient spine care.
