University of Maryland Medical System opens vascular center

Baltimore-based University of Maryland Medical System opened a new vascular center in Annapolis, Md., according to a May 17 6Park report.

The center had its ribbon cutting May 10.

The center is made possible through a partnership between Rajabrata Sarkar, MD, PhD, chief of vascular surgery at the University of Maryland Medical Center, and John Martin, MD, a vascular surgeon in Annapolis, according to the report.
