UnityPoint Health – Blank Children’s Hospital has partnered with Children’s Nebraska’s Criss Heart Center to open a new pediatric cardiology clinic.
The Blank Children’s Cardiology clinic is located on the Iowa Methodist Medical Center and Blank Children’s Hospital campus in Des Moines, Iowa, according to a Sept. 26 news release from UnityPoint Health.
Cardiologist Jill Shivapour, MD, will lead patients through pediatric cardiology diagnosis, treatment plan and follow-up care needs.
Procedures that will be performed at the clinic include electrocardiogram, echocardiogram, blood pressure monitoring and Holter monitor, the release said.
