Here are the top three paying workplaces for cardiologists, according to 2024 data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics, published April 2.

The bureau released updated annual mean wage compensation data to reflect May 2024 information, the latest available. 

1. Physician offices: $453,430

2. General medicine and surgical hospitals: $399,830

3. Colleges, universities and professional schools: $179,320
