Question: What is the best part about your job?
Evalyn Cole: What is the best part about my job? Almost everything! I love that the work I do reaches into so many lives in positive ways. Our motto is, "Improving lives, one heart at a time." I work to improve the lives of patients through safer care, since our infection rates are almost nonexistent. At 30 to 40 percent below hospital rates for the same procedure, we certainly improve patient pocketbooks. I also enjoy finding ways to improve the lives of coworkers by mentoring them into new challenges. And improving the doctors' lives is not hard. Who would not enjoy working in a team atmosphere where your coworkers are also your friends!
