SGMC Health adds cardiothoracic surgeon

SGMC Cardiothoracic Surgery has added Guilherme De Oliveira, MD, to its medical staff. 

Dr. De Oliveira is a cardiothoracic surgeon with a focus on treating coronary artery disease, valve disorders and arrhythmias, according to an Aug. 18 news release from SGMC Health.

In addition, Dr. De Oliveira performs thoracic procedures including robotic procedures for lung nodules, lung cancer, first rib resection and pleural diseases.

SGMC Cardiothoracic Surgery is part of Valdosta, Ga.-based SGMC Health, which supports more than 600 providers, according to its website.
