Samaritan Cardiology will be staffed by James Willis, MD, and physician assistant Kate Symenow, PA-C. Dr. Willis founded Cardiology Associates 38 years ago.

The new partnership will help with succession planning and physician recruitment as Dr. Willis gets closer to retirement.

“After considering many partners, Samaritan was selected as they are as committed to this community as I am. The transition has gone smoothly, and it is evident to me that they want this to be successful,” Dr. Willis told WWTI.

Under the partnership, Samaritan will now offer outpatient cardiology services. Echocardiograms will now be performed at the Samaritan Health and Wellness Plaza as part of its existing imaging and lab services.

At the Becker's 23rd Annual Spine, Orthopedic and Pain Management-Driven ASC + The Future of Spine Conference, taking place June 11-13 in Chicago, spine surgeons, orthopedic leaders and ASC executives will come together to explore minimally invasive techniques, ASC growth strategies and innovations shaping the future of outpatient spine care.
