Philips is integrating its cardiac ambulatory monitoring and diagnostic services within Epic’s Aura system.

The partnership removes the need for providers and organizations to review and order patient ECG results directly in Epic, according to a July 24 news release from Philips.

In addition, the integration will streamline administrative tasks by automating patient activation, staff notifications and charting.

The companies aim to improve the cardiac diagnostic process and patient outcomes by combining their technologies, the release said.
