Healthgrades released its top 50 hospitals in the U.S. for cardiac surgery in 2025.

WVU Medicine Princeton (W.Va.) Community Hospital and the Morgantown, W.Va.-based WVU Heart and Vascular Institute have opened a joint cardiology facility, the New Cardiology Clinic, according to an Oct. 22 report from WVVA. 

Rockford, Ill.-based Mercyhealth has added Faraz Kazmi, MD, to its medical staff.

Sanford, N.C.-based Central Carolina Cardiology has relocated, according to an Oct. 22 report from The Sanford Herald.

Pocatello, Idaho-based Portneuf Heart and Vascular Institute added Ryan Longmore, DO, to its staff, according to an Oct. 21 report by East Idaho News.

AdventHealth Medical Group opened a cardiology clinic in Chatsworth, Ga.

Father-son cardiology duo Saadi Albaghdadi, MD, and Ali Albaghdadi, MD, have relocated their Clinton, Iowa-based clinic, according to an Oct. 14 report from the Clinton Herald.

MedAxiom released its 2024 Cardiovascular Provider Compensation and Production Survey results Oct. 15, detailing post-pandemic changes to the cardiovascular provider market and shifts in practice ownership models, compensation and production trends. 

South Miami, Fla.-based MyCardiologist added Linda Koshy, MD, to its medical staff.
