Here are four newly announced or opened cardiology ASCs reported by Becker's since Aug. 7:

Richmond, Va.-based James River Cardiology has entered into a partnership with private equity firm RC Capital to form Aligned Cardiovascular Partners. 

Private equity is increasingly investing in cardiology as more procedures move to the outpatient setting.

Springfield, Ore.-based PeaceHealth Medical Center at RiverBend plans to permanently close its pediatric cardiology clinic on July 21, according to a May 24 report from public radio station KLCC.
