Outpatient care centers are the top-paying practice setting for cardiologists in the U.S., according to salary data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics. 

Sanford Bemidji (Minn.) Heart and Vascular Center added Antony Chu, MD, to its cardiology department, according to a July 5 report by Park Rapid Enterprise.

Brandon, Fla.-based Bay Area Cardiology has partnered with private equity-backed cardiovascular management group Cardiovascular Associates of America. 

In May 2022, Salem-based Pacific Cardiovascular Center became the first single-specialty cardiovascular ASC certified in the state of Oregon. 

A lawsuit has been filed against Great Valley Cardiology in Scranton, Pa., an affiliate of Commonwealth Health System, following a data breach that compromised the personal information of 181,764 patients, according to a June 26 report from The Times-Tribune.
