Three cardiologists recently joined Becker's to share the advice they would give their younger selves.

Here are six cardiologists in the news whom Becker's has reported on since Aug. 22:

The highest paid cardiologist in Miami earns $1,030,800, according to Medscape's salary reporter tool, which is much higher than the mean annual wage of $421,330 cardiologists make according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics.

Bangor, Maine-based Northern Light Cardiology has added Malachy Sullivan, MD, to its team of cardiologists. 

Healthgrades has ranked the top 100 hospitals for cardiac care in 2023, including three hospitals in Wisconsin.

HCA Florida St. Lucie Hospital has cut the ribbon on its new 15-bed cardiac telemetry unit, according to an Aug. 31 report from South Florida Hospital News.

North Conway, N.H.-based Memorial Hospital, part of MaineHealth, added cardiologist Robert Bender, DO. 

Jared Davis, MD, an interventional cardiologist, has joined Cardiovascular Consultants of South Georgia, according to an Aug. 24 news release from Archbold.
