Tacoma, Wash.-based MultiCare Health System plans to open a Pulse Heart Institute cardiology center in Yelm, Wash., by the end of 2025.

The new clinic will be located near the system’s existing Indigo Urgent Care, according to an Oct. 7 Nisqually Valley News report.

The cardiology center marks MultiCare’s next step in building out specialty care access in Yelm, an expansion driven by strong patient volumes at its urgent care facility that opened last May.

At the Becker’s 32nd Annual Meeting: The Business and Operations of ASCs, taking place October 29-31 in Chicago, ASC leaders, surgeons and healthcare executives will explore strategies to drive growth, enhance operational performance, navigate reimbursement challenges and prepare for the future of ambulatory surgery.
