New York City-based Mount Sinai Fuster Heart Hospital has launched the Samuel Fineman Cardiac Catheterization Artificial Intelligence Research Lab to advance interventional cardiology and improve patient outcomes.
The lab, led by Annapoorna Kini, MD, director of Mount Sinai Hospital’s Cardiac Catheterization Lab, will integrate AI into procedural, educational and research workflows, according to a Sept. 15 system news release.
Researchers aim to enhance patient care by focusing on risk stratification, case planning, treatment innovation and more.
