Miami-based MyCardiologist has debuted an immediate care clinic, MyCardiologistNow, in Kendall, Fla.

The walk-in clinic is designed to provide same-day, specialized cardiac care for patients with non-life-threatening but worrying symptoms, such as chest discomfort, shortness of breath, palpitations, elevated blood pressure or dizziness, according to a Sept. 17 news release.

The clinic offers onsite diagnostic testing, including electrocardiograms, echocardiograms, stress testing, blood work, CT scans and athletic heart screenings. It is staffed by board-certified cardiologists and technicians.

“MyCardiologistNow changes the way patients access heart care by eliminating long waits for appointments and providing immediate access to expert evaluations,” said Henry Aldrich, MD, of MyCardiologist in the release.
