For the last few years, Dr. Garcia and his team have been treating patients in a small, four-room building, according to the report.
The team held an open house at the new building, which previously housed a local newspaper, on Jan. 12.
The new facility has 15 procedure rooms, testing rooms and space to do in-house labs. Dr. Garcia started his practice almost 15 years ago with just one other employee.
At the Becker’s 32nd Annual Meeting: The Business and Operations of ASCs, taking place October 29-31 in Chicago, ASC leaders, surgeons and healthcare executives will explore strategies to drive growth, enhance operational performance, navigate reimbursement challenges and prepare for the future of ambulatory surgery.
