Baptist Health Heart & Vascular Care at Baptist Health Miami Cardiac & Vascular Institute has added Pedro Covas, MD.
Dr. Covas is a noninvasive cardiologist with expertise in echocardiography and cardiac computed tomography to guide structural heart procedures, according to a Nov. 3 news release from Baptist Health.
His clinical interests include valvular heart disease, cardiac CT for the evaluation of coronary artery disease and artificial intelligence to improve cardiovascular imaging.
Dr. Covas is certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, echocardiography and cardiovascular computed tomography, the release said.
