A newly constructed cardiovascular surgery center in Covington, La., has been sold for $8.81 million.

The property, occupied by Cardiovascular Specialty Care Center, totals 10,690 square feet and is staffed by eight physicians who are affiliated with US Heart & Vascular, according to a July 23 news release from Marcus & Millichap, a brokerage firm involved with the transaction.

A group of investors and physicians affiliated with the tenant sold the property to Montecito Medical, a healthcare real estate investment firm.

The building was constructed in 2025 and is fully leased to the cardiovascular ASC, the release said.

At the Becker’s 32nd Annual Meeting: The Business and Operations of ASCs, taking place October 29-31 in Chicago, ASC leaders, surgeons and healthcare executives will explore strategies to drive growth, enhance operational performance, navigate reimbursement challenges and prepare for the future of ambulatory surgery.
