Auxira Health, a virtual cardiology model, has launched to expand access to cardiology care.
The model virtually embeds clinical teams into cardiology practices, reducing administrative burdens and improving workflows, according to a May 22 news release.
Cardiology practices are matched with advanced practice providers, medical assistants and registered nurses who work remotely to help physicians sort patient messages and manage follow-up appointments.
Auxira Health does not require any new technology integrations and works within the existing EHR and billing systems at the practice.
The model was co-developed with MedStar Health and Abundant Venture Partners, the release said.
At the Becker's 23rd Annual Spine, Orthopedic and Pain Management-Driven ASC + The Future of Spine Conference, taking place June 11-13 in Chicago, spine surgeons, orthopedic leaders and ASC executives will come together to explore minimally invasive techniques, ASC growth strategies and innovations shaping the future of outpatient spine care.
