As more cardiology care and services move toward ASCs and outpatient settings, here are three organizations that are making some big moves in the cardiology space:
- Nashville, Tenn.-based HCA Healthcare is continuing to invest heavily into cardiology procedures and surgeries. During the first quarter of 2025, the company experienced strong growth from outpatient cardiac surgeries while keeping spending stable.
- Cardiovascular Logistics, a national cardiovascular platform, entered into a partnership with Cardiology Consultants of Philadelphia, the largest independent cardiology practice in the U.S., growing its network of cardiology providers to more than 400 and more than 80 practice locations.
- Cincinnati-based Bon Secours Mercy Health System and Raleigh, N.C.-based Compass Surgical Partners recently teamed up through a joint venture. The two companies also announced plans to open a cardiovascular-focused ASC.
At the Becker’s 32nd Annual Meeting: The Business and Operations of ASCs, taking place October 29-31 in Chicago, ASC leaders, surgeons and healthcare executives will explore strategies to drive growth, enhance operational performance, navigate reimbursement challenges and prepare for the future of ambulatory surgery.
