The key salary details to know:

Top five states for physician assistants:

• Connecticut: $125,610
• Washington: $123,980
• Alaska: $122,260
• Hawaii: $121,120
• California: $117,230

Top five states for certified registered nurse anesthetists:

• Montana: $246,370
• California: $212,210
• Iowa: $209,130
• Oregon: $205,730
• Wisconsin: $204,820

Top five states for registered nurses:

• California: $106,950
• Hawaii: $98,080
• Massachusetts: $92,140
• Oregon: $91,080
• Alaska: $89,310
