A Software Advice analysis of 200 practices considering purchasing medical practice management software found 81 percent want software with scheduling capabilities, and 40 percent currently operate without any software at all.

Software Advice randomly selected prospective buyers from practices who contacted its advisors about medical practice management software between January 2017 and February 2018. The report was created based on those conversations.
