The University of California has acquired 162,554 square feet across three medical office buildings in West Hills, Calif., on behalf of UCLA Health, according to a Jan. 20 report from the Commercial Property Executive.

The University of Alabama at Birmingham's Heersink School of Medicine's department of anesthesiology and perioperative medicine has tapped Ryan Densmore, MD, as its director of non-operating room anesthesia. 

President-elect Donald Trump, who will officially be inaugurated Jan. 20, has consistently expressed plans to sign an executive order placing 25% tariffs on all goods imported from Canada and Mexico, with an additional 10% tariff on goods from China.
