Here are five hospitals and health systems that have added cardiologists to their staff that Becker's has reported on since Oct. 11:

The highest paid anesthesiologist in Boston earns $602,900 per year, according to Medscape's salary reporter tool, which is much higher than the mean annual wage of $302,970 anesthesiologists make according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics.

Sanford Bemidji (Minn.) Eye Center and Optical has added Shelby Potkin, MD, to its team of ophthalmologists, according to a Nov. 8 report by The Bemidji Pioneer.
