Beacon Health System in South Bend, Ind. and Orthopedic & Sports Medicine Center in Elkhart, Ind. opened The Surgery Center of Granger (Ind.), according to a May 25 news release from the health system.

Nashville, Tenn.-based Capitol Pain Institute acquired Balcones Pain Consultants and Water Leaf Surgery Center, the company said in a May 18 news release. 

Cincinnati-based Bon Secours Mercy Health and Raleigh, N.C.-based Compass Surgical Partners are partnering to grow outpatient surgical care, the companies said May 18.

Following plans to file for Chapter 11 bankruptcy, Envision Healthcare reached a restructuring agreement with its stakeholders.
